We're looking for a hands-on engineer with expertise in authentication mechanisms, OAuth, and security best practices. You’ll provide technical support for our compliance software platform and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and enhance system performance.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our Elixir & Phoenix-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of functional programming, Elixir, the Phoenix framework, and related technologies. They will play a key role in diagnosing issues, assisting developers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for Elixir & Phoenix-based applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Diagnose and debug backend services, APIs, and databases.
  • Work closely with the development and DevOps teams to ensure system stability and performance.

  • Assist in deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Elixir applications.
  • Provide technical documentation and user guides for internal teams.
  • Respond to and resolve tickets in a timely manner, prioritizing based on impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and scalability.
  • Stay updated with best practices and new developments in Elixir, Phoenix, and supporting technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Elixir and Phoenix framework.
  • Strong understanding of functional programming concepts.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets, and background job processing.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with LiveView and real-time features in Phoenix.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of authentication mechanisms, OAuth, and security best practices.
  • Prior experience in technical support or DevOps.
