Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our Elixir & Phoenix-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of functional programming, Elixir, the Phoenix framework, and related technologies. They will play a key role in diagnosing issues, assisting developers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Elixir & Phoenix-based applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Diagnose and debug backend services, APIs, and databases.
- Work closely with the development and DevOps teams to ensure system stability and performance.

- Assist in deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Elixir applications.
- Provide technical documentation and user guides for internal teams.
- Respond to and resolve tickets in a timely manner, prioritizing based on impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and scalability.
- Stay updated with best practices and new developments in Elixir, Phoenix, and supporting technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience working with Elixir and Phoenix framework.
- Strong understanding of functional programming concepts.
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets, and background job processing.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LiveView and real-time features in Phoenix.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms, OAuth, and security best practices.
- Prior experience in technical support or DevOps.
